Livewire's 3G / 4G data SIM cards make it possible for yachts to enjoy reliable data services on-board when in port, at anchor or close to shore. As every yacht is different, both roaming and non roaming SIMs are offered covering 96 countries worldwide.

Key Highlights of the Service Are:

• A comprehensive SIM booklet is sent free of charge (including shipping) and won’t charge until a SIM is activated
• The data solution is aimed at complimenting VSAT systems because they provide sufficient speeds (1-20Mbps+) at a fraction of the cost to enable HD streaming and typical internet usage for guests and crew
• You are not locked into long term contracts. Monthly rolling contracts make the service flexible and suit the ever-changing plans of yachts. There aren’t any fees when 4G SIMs are inactive
• 50GB 4G plans are offered for yachts that don’t have high usage. (From $290.00 per month)
• 250GB 4G plans are offered for yachts that can’t get enough data. (From $590.00 per month)
• The 4G data SIMs cover 96 countries around the world

How Does It Work?

A comprehensive SIM booklet will be sent free of charge including shipping with all available SIMs. Even if there isn’t the immediate requirement for the majority of 4G SIMs they will always be available to the yacht in case of emergencies or changes in plan. 

A login to our web portal is provided to the yacht (typically the Captain or ETO) providing an overview of the SIMs, usage and connection (provided you have a Pepwave router). The added benefit is that you’re able to activate, deactivate and top up when needed as well as calculate future costings.

Once a SIM card is activated you’re free to use the data available until deactivated or the end of the billing month when it will end if requested or renew automatically for another month.
